Blast occurred during repair work; victims were workers from Uttar Pradesh

Srinagar, April 30 (H.S.): Two persons were killed and one injured after a steamer exploded at a juice factory in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Thursday.
The incident took place at Aglar on Wednesday night when three workers—Saurabh Singh, Shiv Kumar and Raj Kumar—were carrying out repair work on the steamer.
All three sustained serious injuries in the explosion and were rushed to a hospital. Saurabh Singh succumbed to his injuries later that night, while Shiv Kumar died on Thursday morning. Raj Kumar is currently undergoing treatment, officials added.
Victims Identified
Officials confirmed that all three workers are residents of Uttar Pradesh and were employed at the factory.
Further investigation is underway to ascertain the exact cause of the explosion.
