New Delhi, April 14: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday extended greetings to citizens across the country on the occasion of Baisakhi and Maha Bishuba Pana Sankranti, marking important cultural and regional celebrations.

Baisakhi, celebrated primarily in Punjab and among Sikh communities worldwide, marks the harvest season and holds deep religious significance. It also commemorates the formation of the Khalsa Panth by Guru Gobind Singh in 1699.
